Yukari Kunisue, Ph.D.

multi-certified yoga Instructor, life coach, and hypnotherapist

I have been a student of yoga for over 20 years. I am also an ardent scholar of the Eastern philosophy of Body and Mind Integration with an educational specialty in Transpersonal Psychology. I am of the belief that awareness of the body is deeply connected with mental and psychological health and that self-healing mechanisms can be unlocked by connecting our physical and psychological selves. It is my passion to serve not just the elderly, but those suffering from PTSD, brain trauma, knee injury, stroke, and Parkinson’s, all through chair yoga. I often use hypnotherapy to combine body movements with meditation and breathing exercises.
